-09-29-02- This Doesn't Suck
Sorry, I can't update as frequently anymore, school and stuff, I'm like busy. Well not really busy, but you know, ummm... hmm, I can't think of the word. I have only so much time to waste, which is still a lot of time to waste, but still not as much as usual. yeah.

First off, I tried out for the big drama production at school, "The Nerd" and got the part I wanted. So everyone better come and see that Nov. 21st 22nd and 23rd, mark your calanders.

Went to the Lewis Palmer homecoming this weekend with Jen and made a spectacle of myself (hahaa), and a restuarnant review came out of it, so check that out. Also a new chat up and some Juzart under "other". Check that out, my first painting from my painting class... kinda sucks, and it's a bad blurry picture, but ya get the idea.

-09-23-02- I was up all fricken night...
Getting this update put together so you'll better fricken enjoy it. You may notice I switched the "music" button to a "random" button, that's because I was tired of having that section that never got updated, and I really should have had a random section to the site from the beginning- so there it is! Links, Quotes, and Chats have been thrown on that page, and updated so check that out. If anything, look at all of Mia's crazy drawings on the random page, man they cracked me up earlier today, I just had to scan them in.

Funny story, at INVASIONFEST when me and Steve were talking to the Sonflowerz backstage and Ben from SOK kicked us out he turned to the Sonflowerz and said "Sorry girls, no boyfriends backstage" HAHAHAHahhahahaHHA AHAHhaAa.. ok, this is only funny to me and Steve.

-09-15-02- INVASIONFEST
this is rather long, but oh well.

So yesterday (saturday) I went to Invasionfest and let me break it down for ya because it ROCKED. I carpooled upto Denver with Steve, Lauren, and Jackie... Lauren drives some sort of hybrid Volkwagon with no name, we're not sure if it's even a volkswagon, it doesn't have a sunroom or glove compartment. EXPLAIN THAT. Anywhoo, INVASIONFEST was great, me and Steve got on a first name basis with half the bands and got some great connections for getting gigs at the coffee house. Some of my favorites (I can't remember specifics on all of them, there were like 15 bands) Sorry, no pictures, digital cameras and mosh pits don't mix.

Driven was the opener for the show, they really should have been closer to the end because they were good, we're gonna book these guys for the coffee house FO SHO!

The Sonflowerz were, well, a chickband yes- but they were a really rockin chickband so shut up. I liked 'em anyway, and me and steve ended up helping them move their equipment (I don't know how), so I was helping the drummer chick pack her stuff up and she gave me her drumstick but I lost in the moshpits later... doh. We're talking to the Sonflowerz backstage and Ben from SOK kicks us out because we didn't have a green wristband, can you believe that, BEN FROM SOK, I thought we were like *this* man.

And then there were these one guys... who were really good... and... I can't remember their name, and it's not on the website or the flyers so I'm really baffled here, but they were really good and got the people jumping. ILL FIND OUT WHO IT WAS LATER.

Soc98 had the people hoppin, some good moshing too, kind of a punkish sound- I liked it. We had a bet how old the lead singer was, me and Steve said 18 or 19.... we lost. He was like 16, craaaazy, I didn't get a chance to talk to these guys, but they're playing with SOK and ATF next friday, I might go to that.

Thorn was heavy... I mean it made you forget you were at a christian rock concert, the moshing was just brutal- it was great, props to these guys, I talked with the lead singer, he was cool. Steve bought their CD... it doesn't work.

Comrades at Arms, there music was good but a little repetative, still great for running around and moshing in, I was talking to them and they said I rocked, so THERE YOU HAVE IT.

SOK are the guys that had been pretty much runnin the show (kicking us out of the back ben, you jerk) and they do ROCK. 'nuff said. They played at the coffee house 2 weeks back, good stuff. They through out a compilation CD in the crowd and and and I caught it and and and it's really cool it's signed by a bunch of people so GO ME.

After INVASIONFEST me and Steve and Lauren went to McDonalds, and let me say the Mcdonalds in Denver on Smokey Hill has SUPURB ice, i mean seriously, it was outstanding, I filled out a comment card about it. It was pretty late and the place was closing so some of the doors were locked and these people came up to the window... I think they wanted inside. So like jackasses me and Steve try explaining how great the ice was here through the window, only the guy couldn't hear us, so we start interpretavely acting out that the ice was good, I don't think he understood. Long story short it turned out to be the band "Oaks of Righteousness" and we talked with the drummer chick awhile, it was cool. I didn't hear much of thier music but it was a hip-hop rock thing going, it was cool.

So anyway that was INVASIONFEST, there were many more adventures, it was a blast, be sure to catch it next year.

Some other updated to Juz quotes and art, and my internet ban has been lifted so REJOICE PEASENTS.

-09-10-02- News from the Underground
Day three, the protest continues. On request I've made a larger protest banner to be printed out so you can throw it on your dorm room door or whatever. C'mon, everybody's doing it. FIGHT THE POWER! Phone lines are still open. end transmission.

-09-09-02- Protest
Day two of my ban from the internet, this is getting big, maybe even blown out of proportion. Here's some world-wide propoganda going around on the subject. here and here and here and here.

FIGHT THE POWER! CREATE CHANGE! RUN WITH THE LIL' GUY! DISCUSS HERE!

-09-07-02- ....!!!
Ok, as promised, I finally got the Beth art up, so go check out that in the art section- just note that for some reason a lot of the pictures were saved without enough colors and it distorts the coloring on a lot of them, I'll fix that later.

Here's some random pictures that have been gathered over the weeks... mmmm... random.
I was walking through school the other day and saw this poster that said I need my senior picture in by early october, and I was like "oh crap!" So I whipped out my digital camera and starting taking pictures using the arm extension and shoot method. But I can't decide which one to use... 1, 2, 3, or 4
I was introduced to the power and mystery of the Invisable Orange. Perhaps there are some things that shouldn't be toyed with.
This is why you don't tell Justin things... offhand comments like "Brad Luckert, he's soooo dreamy". Sorry Lee ann... Justin=evil.

I got some new scribblings up and an oil pastel up (I'm Watching You *twitch*). I'm afraid updates might became a little scarce for awhile... you see, my parents were snooping around on the computer one day and declared my website to be "FILTH" and im not allowed to go on the internet anymore (riiiiight, anyway...). If you're outraged by this please take it up with Steve or Sara Anderson, call (719) 598-1841, lines are now open 24-7.

-09-06-02- Shennanigans!
The shennanigans got updated... this is new. I had this brilliant idea the other day, to goto restaurants and write reviews. I mean... wow, why didn't I think of this before?? That's in Shennanigans, GO SEE NOW. Also an update to the chat section (I should be washed off the face of the earth yadda yadda) and Beth's art is up and ready for viewing... as soon as I make button thing... ehh, I'll do it tomorrow, I have to get up in 3 hours.

-08-29-02- Update-ish-ness
So anyway a lot of little updates here and there to Juz chats, Juz links, Juz quotes, Juz art (im getting bored of oil pastels, hmmph), and Parker has a couple new anime up, kickass as always. Some art and stuff from my friend Beth should be coming up some time... STAY TUNED.

-08-29-02- New Button, ooh
Sorry It's been awhile since the last update, started school the other week and it's been a little crazy. Not that I have homework or study or don't stay up late at night or anything, but... ya know... crazy. Anywhoo there's a new button on the sidebar. This whole ANTICow thing was getting troublesome enough to put up a whole new button on the sidebar, go figure. Also a new stupid chat up...

Solid Grounds Coffee House Kickoff tomorrow, pictures will be taken.
Paul, i screwed up the link colors, fiiiiiiix it!

-08-22-02- Drawnonward
heyHEY, my friend's of the band Drawnonward actually have some stuff up at their site so you should all check that out. They recently released their first CD which I should be able to get a copy of pretty soon, maybe they'll let me upload an mp3 for ya'll. And here's a picture of me and guitarist Jon... why? because it seems relavent to the topic.

Continueing with the news on Steve's tragic death... it seems there may be more to this story than meets the eye in what i like to call The Lambert Conspiracy. Perusing through Canadian newspapers (don't ask why, it's none of your business), I found and magnified this picture. Now this raises some interesting questions that will involve a more in-depth investigation. In the meantime, since Steve's a dirty dirty canadian, I have no trouble showing you this- DROWN CANUCK!

Oh yeah, and I went to court today... fun!

-08-21-02- Well, it was bound to happen...
Ya know, I try to relate to the people and give them what they want on this site, but I just can't reach everyone. Maybe that's my fault, maybe I need to work harder- regardless, today will live in infamy as I was e-mailed by a one "Anti-Cow" who doesn't see things my way. I find his website to be vulgar and Canadian, and there will be reckoning. Maybe not today, not tomorrow... but sometime. In a completely unrelated subject, I found these pictures of the late Steve Lambert, I think he would have wanted me to share them with you all. Steve humps Elton John outside Rosie's, and obituary photo.

Also, there's a new section up on the "about me" page, it documents some of my stupid chats. I got some new art up in my section too, go ACTION PUPPY!

-08-20-02- Update with *content* (gasp!)
So anyway, the site's been down for a couple days... I don't know why and I don't ask questions, Anywhoo... I actually got some real contenty stuff put up. My good friend Jen makes all these kick ass art-ma-things and blahblhablhah, it's in the art section go see it or die. In other news, Steve Lambert is Dead.

-08-16-02- Push Back the Square
Well school's rolling around again, this'll be my senior year (thank god). Some people get books and supplies, I burn a Back to School CD. Also check out Parker's Art, he has 2 new sketches up beatifully colored in photoshop. Justin art has been updated as well, I've been playing with a lot of oil pastels lately they're fun, it's like drawing with smeary... crayon. .. things.

-08-13-02- STEVE LAMBERT IS A WOMAN
And I am not Jennifer Connely, and Angelfire does not count as the internet.

"but everything on the internet is inherently true." -Steve Lambert 08/13/02

-08-12-02- The day I almost traded my Fishpen for Ice Cream
Don't worry people, that didn't happen, I would never trade my fishpen. EVER. Anywhoo, sorry still don't have the old site pieced together yet... should probably do that. Some updates to the art section, Parker and I have some new stuff up, and update to Justin Links- EVERYONE GO EAGERLY ANTICIPATE AXE WITH ME AND STEVE. ummm... Brynn CLICK HERE

Oh yea, and the Wal-Mart-A-Thon is starting to get popular among the locals here, so I might make a sign up sheet or something for that and pick a date. And mission objectives (example: constantly recruit at walmart, walmart scavenger hunt), if any one has ideas for that, TELL ME.

-08-07-02- Downtime Insanity
As very few people noticed, the site was down yesterday because of Paul and his... well I won't bore you with the technical jargon- but all the stuff from the old site was erased and Paul had to go through his temp internet files to find that while I went on my old hardrive (more on that in the justin quotes). Anywhoo, we're still piecing the old site back together and fixing some broken links. And now, fun stuff I found on my hardrive-
Mystery woman- This picture was on my hardrive called "Busty Ninja". Busty yes, but ninja? i dunno, I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THIS IS... hmmm, maybe a connection to the delirious scribblings
Indiana Cow- Paul with a Fedorah... heheheh
Capture the Flag- About a year ago there was a reality discussion in the forum with the offhand comment about Paul going into work and shooting people to capture a flag... thus the inspiration for this. It was never quite finished and it's about 1mb big.

-08-05-02- Boring Update
Yea, some additions to the Parker's Anime section of the Art page with a picture and somewhat of a description of him. Also, what I did last night. And most importantly, I FOUND MY FISHPEN!

-08-04-02- Grand Opening!
Well it's been a week or tow of sleepless nights, but narcotic cow is finally ready for it's grand opening! It's almost 4:00 AM here and let me tell ya, it's a crazy premiere party down here in the basement, the websites up, the cats are partying, Jones Soda, P.O.D - Rock the Party playing softly over the speakers, I have no pants on, it's crazy!

A couple of quick recommended views, be sure to check out Delirious Scribblings, Parker's Anime, (the previously unrelased) Pencam!, and sign up for Wal-Mart-A-Thon 2002. Please keep in mind, I plan to be updating the content a lot so keep checking back!
